Just some comments we've received from teachers and READ volunteers...

King John High School, Essex

Congratulati
ons to King John's High School who raise a massive £1346 for READ!  Their Silly Socks Day was a huge success and they have raised enough money to send 2692 books to East Africa!  This could supply over 6 schools with textbooks, improving access to education and unlocking student's potential - amazing work.

This year Sixth Formers at King John’s School are trialling our Youth Leadership Project – exciting stuff!

Norwood School, London

Norwood School have been great supporters of READ over the last 3 years.  They have received Think Global workshops, donated textbooks and run a book drive.  Their books have been sent to the Tabora region of Tanzania, to be used in the day to day education of hundreds of students.  We look forward to working with them again soon!

 Breckland Park School, Norwich

GCSE students at this small school in Norwich decided to based their GCSE Citizenship project on READ in the academic year 2009/10.  We’re pleased to report that all students gained A*-C grades, raised £250 for READ and helped send 20,000 textbooks to the Shinyanga region of Tanzania.

Forest School, London
